Paprika, or any chilli spices for that matter can be a tricky balancing act to achieve any sort of harmony and frankly we find some chilli crisps way too fiery to the point where you cannot feel your tongue by the time you get to the end of the bag. Now I like a spicy crisp but I don't want to end up with tears and a runny noise at the end.
Rubio's Paprika has somehow got that kick we like but with out the need to suck on an ice cube for several minutes after you finish. It could be the way the flavour interacts with the olive oil, some how it manages to keep the inner lining of your mouth calm whilst still enjoying that peppery hit. It's got to be cold beer every time with this flavour, something continental and out of a bottle.
